Summary: "But we're playing Monopoly. It's a board game."

“Alright, so here’s the plan-“

“Wait, why do we need a plan?” Kate asked.

“Why wouldn’t we have a plan?” Emma replied. “If we don’t have a plan, how can we ever expect to win? We are a team of champions, Kate, not losers like those other people.”

"But we’re playing Monopoly,” Kate says slowly. “It’s a board game.”

“Monopoly isn’t just some board game, Kate. It is the single greatest board game ever created. This, this game, it makes and breaks men at every turn. But we won’t be broken Kate, we’ll be champions. Because of my plan.”

“I think you may be taking this a bit too seriously.”

Haha, that's a cool idea for the prompt! I love the way you wrote the conversation between Emma and Kate; yep, I agree, Emma might take it a little too serious. ;) I love the subtle humour in here which you brought across very well. I love how you portrayed Emma's wish to win and Kate not really seeing what she's up to. Oh, and I like how you started and finished the story; although it's an open end, it doesn't seem incomplete at all. Perfect way to end the story. Very well written, I like it a lot!
