Ever since she had been brought to this place, she had been exploring the nooks and crannies of it. If she was going to be living here for the rest of eternity, she might as well be well acquainted with it. There was no sense in getting lost after all.
It was filled with the bizarre rooms and corridors though. Her favorite was the glass corridor. Through its walls, she could see whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. A look at Renaissance Italy? Done. Or maybe she wanted to see some Mesopotamian city-states; also done. Even the stone age could be viewed through its walls.
And, most importantly of all, she could see her family.
