Pairing: Hades/Persephone
Each seed was crushed beneath her pretty, white teeth releasing sweet juice. Red stains covered her pale fingers; the seeds fiercely clung to the white pulp as if sensing her desires and wanting to prevent their fruition. But it didn’t matter; she would cut open every pomegranate and pry out every seed if she had to.
The taste of freedom, like the taste of the pomegranates, was sweet and utterly addicting.
On some level, she realized she was trading one tyrant for another, but she could not bring herself to care.
At least Hades gave her an illusion of freedom.
